Not necessarily, the tools you find on the list are the ones that I used to build the guitar featured on the course. However, you might find that you are able to build your guitar with the tools you already own. If you are starting from scratch and don’t have any tools I would recommend that you buy the tools needed for each specific job and buy more tools as you go.
There are only a few specialist tools that are required and you can purchase them online from Madinter or StewMac. For the majority of the tools any supplier of quality tools would be suitable. I would recommend that you don’t buy the cheapest tools as often they are not up to the job and you end up having to replace them.
The course has been created for beginners and experienced makers alike. If you have already built an instrument you might find that you are familiar with some techniques being taught and hopefully it will help you refine your skills and achieve excellence in your making. On the other hand if you are a complete beginner you will find that the content of the course is detailed and all the tasks have been broken down so that they are achieved easily.

Yes plans are provided with this course. However, there is a huge variety of plans available from Luthier Suppliers online if you don’t already have a set of plans that you want to use for building your guitar.
No, however I have produced a 9 video series on how to French polish which is available for free on my YouTube channel.
Yes, on this course you will find clear instructions enabling you to make the rosette illustrated or your own design.
There are plans available to build some of the necessary jigs and explanations are also given in the course on how they are made.
Yes, you can buy chapters individually.
